About the ice cream
Crafted in Slöinge, served on a sand dune
Sia Glass is made in Slöinge in Halland, where ice-cream craft and quality have been the focus for generations. Using Swedish cream and carefully chosen ingredients, they make ice cream with a full flavour and a creamy texture that young and old alike enjoy.
With us you will find a selection of around twelve flavours at a time. Most are creamy dairy ice creams, but we always offer refreshing sorbets as well as lactose-free and vegan options.
The range changes through the season, which means there is almost always a new favourite to discover.

All sundaes are served in a large wafer or waffle cup. Cashless, we take card and Swish.

The kids' special was the real highlight for my five-year-old. She talked about the umbrella and the ice cream all the way home. Such lovely staff too.

Where can I find you?
We are at Lomma Beach House, between Waikiki Beach Bar & Grill and Kite.se, right by the beach. Coming from Lomma harbour, walk through the small wooded area and then out towards the beach between the dunes.
How far is it from Malmö?
About 13 km. By car it takes around 15 minutes. Trains and buses also run to Lomma, and from there it is a short walk through the village to the beach.
Is there parking nearby?
There is a beach car park a few hundred metres away. In high season it often fills up, so bike or on foot is a good alternative.
What are your opening hours?
During the summer season we are open 12 to 17. On sunny, warm days we stay open later, sometimes until 21 or 22. We are weather-dependent, so follow our Instagram for daily updates.
When do you close for the season?
We stay open until September, depending on the weather. Towards the end of the season we mainly open afternoons, evenings and weekends. Follow Instagram for current hours.
How much does the ice cream cost?
1 scoop 40 kr, 2 scoops 50 kr, 3 scoops 60 kr. Soft serve small 40 kr, large 60 kr. Toppings, sauce and sprinkles 10 kr. Kids' Special 79 kr. Sundaes (Tin Roof, Digestive) 95 kr.
What flavours do you have?
Around twelve flavours at a time, mostly dairy-based but always a few sorbets. Classics like chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel are usually in the range, plus seasonal flavours that rotate. Follow our Instagram for today's flavours.
What are your most popular flavours?
From our first season: Sea-salted caramel, Italian vanilla, Chocolate, Blueberry cheesecake, Raspberry sorbet, Lemon sorbet and Macadamia. The Kids' Special is a favourite with our younger guests.
What is the Kids' Special?
Our Kids' Special (79 kr) has 2 scoops of any flavour, a colourful umbrella, coloured sprinkles and a sweet skull, all in a large waffle cup.
Do you offer lactose-free or vegan options?
Yes, we always have both lactose-free and vegan flavours in the range.
Do you have seating?
We have limited outdoor seating, but many guests take their ice cream out onto the beach or along the promenade. We are essentially a grab-and-go ice-cream bar.
What payment methods do you take?
Card and Swish. We are completely cashless.
What makes Sia Glass special?
Sia is the only nationwide ice-cream maker that produces all of its ice cream in Sweden. At least 75 per cent Swedish ingredients, 100 per cent Swedish dairy, made on their own farm with their own cows in Slöinge in Halland, around 100 km from us.

Between Waikiki and Kite.se, right on the beach
We are at Lomma Beach House, between the Waikiki restaurant and the Kite.se watersports centre. About 13 km from Malmö, roughly 15 minutes by car. Parking is available at the beach car park a few hundred metres away.
